This mask is most beneficial for oily, acne prone and congested skin where the drawing and cleansing properties work to unclog and refine skin pores, while also working to regulate sebum production. Key to this product is the intense cleansing and drawing powers of Green Clay, Castor Oil and Slippery Elm. Moderating this cleansing potency and offering soothing, smoothing and gentler cleansing properties are Lavender Honey, Rice Bran Oil, Aloe Vera, and Glycerine. Lavender and Petitgrain Essential Oils provide a soothing vitality but are also anti-bacterial and have a harmonising effect on the skin’s sebum production.

To use as a mask, apply paste to the face smoothly and evenly, rest on the skin for 15 -30 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water and damp cotton pad. Sometimes a secondary cleanse with a gel cleanser is beneficial to fully clear mask from deeper contours of the face. Pat skin dry and follow with Vera Maj-esse Aloe & Hydrosol Toner. This product can also be used as a spot treatment for drawing out pimples and superficial toxins. While not recommended for sensitive skins, this paste can also be used as a general exfoliating cleanser for most other skin types by applying and removing paste after a minute or two.

It is very important that this product be handled out of the jar with clean dry hands or, a clean dry spoon/spatula, to prevent unnecessary contamination. Always discard product if contamination occurs. Store cool and airtight and cease use if personal sensitivities arise. Due to the efficient drawing and detoxifying power of some of the key ingredients of this product (especially green clay) it has a short expiry of 3 months after opening. Refrigeration after opening may extend this period but close monitoring will be necessary.
