Vera is another word for True. Lavandula angustifolia is also known as Lavandula Vera, or True Lavender. As with all Vera -Majesse products our Eau de Parfum has true lavender at its fragrant heart. The aromatic uniqueness of lavender essential oil is enhanced in the top notes by the sweet intrigue of neroli and the piquant beauty of lemon myrtle. Sensuality and depth is bestowed by floral gifts from the orient, Ylang Ylang and Jasmine. A corollary of other botanical gifts, fragrantly tie these essential oils together and lift the perfume beyond the simple beauty of any one in particular.

Scents ‘Naturelle’

Scents Naturelle produce aesthetic potions which rely solely on botanical ingredients for their fragrant beauty. Fragrant botanical substances important in making a scent include essential oils, hydrosols, absolutes, tea infusions and tinctures. These substances are blended with alcohol in varying percentages to produce perfumes of varying intensity. These varying concentrations are categorised by their essential oil content (EOC). Generally accepted categorises are: Parfum (>30% EOC) Eau de Parfum (10-30% EOC), Eau de Cologne (3-10%) and Eau de Toilette or Body Splashes (<3%). The artistry in natural perfumery is in the blending of the fragrant botanicals to produce a scent which is ‘sui generis’, greater than the sum of its parts – a fragrance which is simply its self.
