The potency of this Botanical Hair Gel is its similar acidity, or pH, with our hair and scalp. Aloe Vera and Hydrosol match with skin and hair at a pH between pH 4 -5. Aloe Vera’s chemistry also has many similarities with hair, especially the structural protein keratin and silica compounds, both important for hair strength and shine. Together, pH and chemistry, allows this hair gel to work substantially as a hair and scalp conditioner, and pH regulator; toning the scalp, smoothing and strengthening hair as well as adding body and lift for all hair types. Aloe Vera is also a humectant, drawing moisture to itself and stylistically this moisture will enhance naturally wavy hair and help create tousled styles. As well as bestowing a lasting aromatic beauty, Lavender and Rosemary (CT Verbenone), hydrosol and essential oil, will work to harmonise, revitalise and gently stimulate circulation to the scalp.
