As distillate leaves the still’s condenser and settles in the collection vessel the essential oil rises to the top and the hydrosol settles on the bottom. It follows that the aromatic chemistry that was complete in the plant now becomes two separate products. Distillate Mist recombines essential oil (1%) and hydrosol (98%) for your benefit. Mist directly onto face and hair, and let this pure lavender mist hydrate, refresh, calm and soothe you throughout the day. The mild acidity of natural hydrosol (pH 4) gives this mist an astringent and toning quality perfect for revitalising and strengthening skin and hair.
