This refreshing gel tonic is formulated to reinvigorate the skin’s inherent revitalising and restorative processes and to regulate and maintain skin acidity, or pH, at a healthy level. Potency to achieve these aims rests in the natural astringency and similar pH of Aloe Vera and Hydrosol (from Rose, Lavender, Hypericum and Rosemary) with skin (pH 4 – 5). Aloe Vera’s chemistry similarities with skin keratin, amino acids and skin refining silica compounds, make this gel important for skin strength, elasticity, texture and complexion. Aloe Vera is also an important antioxidant which protects the skin against free radical activity, and is a humectant which draws moisture to the skin. Vitamin C rich Rosehip Fruit Granules and soothing and Calendula Petals help to hydrate, and with the support of Rosy Essential Oils, enhance Aloe Vera’s skin protective and restorative qualities.

To achieve a smooth satin skin finish, apply gel to cleansed and toned skin prior to the application of a moisturiser. This gel can also be used as a night time treatment (on its own or prior to a serum or face oil). This gel may also assist in soothing and restoring sun exposed, irritated and congested skin. Please note; Aloe Vera will naturally work to dissolve and debride grime, oily residues as well as dry and damaged cells from the skin’s surface. This may initially cause some flaking to occur, however, with prolonged use as the skin’s own restorative processes are revitalised, the skin’s condition and texture will improve and this gentle exfoliating process will cease. To specifically use this skin gel as a non abrasive exfoliator; apply gel generously to the skin, allowing it to settle on the skin until dry. Follow, application of gel with face oil, such as, Rosy in Amber ◊ Meadow Foam, Coconut and Jojoba – Skin Enhancing Oil. Allow oil to rest on the skin with the gel for 5 minutes then remove together with a damp cotton pad. You will be surprised what is removed from your skin and how wonderful it feels after this treatment.
