Lavender Essential Oil – L. angustifolia Cookie

$7.50$80.00

Lavender cultivar Cookie produces an effervescent essential oil with floral freshness, a hint of peppermint and spicy floral and peppery wood back notes. Phyto-chemically Cookie is balanced towards the esters compounds, with linalyl acetate, sometimes registering as high as 47%, which when other acetates, lavandulyl, octen-3-yl, geranyl and neryl, are included, the total ester content can be as high as 55%. Lavender’s other key compound, linalool, usually settles around 21 – 22%. Depth and aromatic longevity are given to these classic lavender aromas by significant levels of more resonant compounds, octanone (2-3%), cis & trans ß ocimene (7- 8 %), ß –caryophyllene(3-4%) and α –santalene (1-2%). Cookie oil fits entirely within the Pharmacopeia Standards and also balances well with the ISO benchmarks.
